I just removed my boots and life jacket.

Well, neither global warming nor the wrath of the Mayans has terminated Cambridge.
We didn't even test our new flood insurance policy.
When the wind diminished, the Choptank went back to normal mode.
You can stop worrying and go back to making egg nog.

December 21, 2012: Is this the end?

Did the Mayans predict this?
These were taken 45 minutes before high tide.
This high tide rivals Hurricane Sandy, maybe higher.
The wind is most likely the culprit at 15 knots from the WSW.
The rain also adds to the high levels.

Board Meeting Notes, November 17, 2012

My notes from the Saturday, November 17, Board meeting.
  • Christmas Party, December 15, 4-6 PM. A notice will be placed under each door in the building.
  • Various Inspections and repairs have been made to the systems in the building. This includes elevators, lighting, etc.
  • Some shingles blew off during Sandy. Only minor leaks occurred. The building suffered no other damage.
  • Any building problems should be reported to Sentry Management  (410) 221-0398. Their website is  http://marylandsentrymgt.com
  • Condo fees: One owner has not paid for many months. This  owner represents a majority of the unpaid balance. Action is proceeding.
  • Budget was approved as reported
    • The total amount has not changed. There will be no change in condo fees.
  • The board approved acquiring flood insurance. Since the building is not in the floodplain, it was not required; however, considering the potential of future storms, it was deemed prudent. The cost calculated to $8.00 per month per condo. At risk was much of the building's mechanical systems which are mostly located on the ground floor. Every unit's air conditioner is also on the ground floor.
  • A reminder; Expansion tanks should be replaced. If this has not been done in your unit, please contact Sentry.  See the blog article from July 2012 on this subject. If a leak occurs, you will be responsible for the damages in the units below yours. These tanks should be replaced every four years.
  • Smoke detector batteries are overdue for replacement. A notice will be forthcoming. A service will be offered to replace the batteries at minimal expense.  See blog of November 2011 on Fire Safety.
  • A fire drill has been planned for the future.  The fire department will participate in the exercise.
  • Given the lobby loitering incident, the board will reconsider the installation of a more robust security system to include electronic card key or fob access with magnetic locks.
  • There was some discussion regarding the need for a club house with a congregation room.  It was suggested that Beazer be approached to set aside a location for that purpose.
There was also a Master Board Meeting scheduled on Sunday, November 18.  Notes will be posted when received.

This Weekend's Meetings

900 Marshy Cove Board Meeting
Location(new):
Dorchester Count Library
303 Gay St.
Cambridge, MD

Meeting Agenda: 2013 Budget

Important issue:
Should 900 Marshy Cove get Flood Insurance?
The Association would be charged $5000 per year.
What is the risk? Is it worth the $5000?

This is a difficult question to answer as the building is not in the floodplain but within a few feet.
Concerned? Have an opinion?
Come to the meeting to express your opinion.
or send your comments to this site, I will forward them to the Board.

There is also a Master Board meeting on Sunday.

Water level since the passing of Sandy

Still higher than normal due to upstream rainfall.

This weather station is located at the end of the bulkhead at the end of the creek near the hospital.

Looks like the worst has passed

passed high tide this morning.

Winds are down,

Barometer is on the rise.

Monday, October 29, 2012

Almost above the bulkhead

Here's the update at high tide. Monday, 5:45 PM.

The water level is just over the finger piers in the Marina.
At the public docks up the street in front of Cattail Condo Building, water has spilled on to the street.

The wind shift could amplify the water level in the estuaries like the Choptank and Miles rivers as it begins to blow more from the Northwest.

If you have photos, I will post them.

Send your pictures to mc900@comcast.net

The water level has not risen above the finger piers in the Deep Harbour Marina yet.

A letter form our Condo Management Team

All,
By now I am sure you are all aware of the impending storm that is to arrive later in the weekend and last through the early part of next week. This storm could have major impacts to our area with damaging winds, heavy rain and flooding. It is recommended that everyone begin to take action now to allow for enough preparation time. It is recommended that you take the following steps:

1. Secure or remove all loose items on balconies and patios.
2. Remove items from yards that have a potential to become projectiles that may damage your property or your neighbors.
3. Prepare for extended power outages with plenty of ice to save frozen food items.
4. Condo owners should fill a bath tub with water so they may still be able to flush toilets by filling the toilet tank with water from a bucket.
5. Plenty of batteries for flashlights and/or radios.
6. Fresh water for drinking.
7. Boat owners should either remove their boat or double up on lines to ensure boats are properly secured.

I am not sure if our office will be open on Monday - Wed. morning. I will be working from home if not in the office. If my main office and my home has power I will have access to emails during that time. In case of an emergency it is recommended that you contact 911 first! Power outages are not considered an emergency! Our emergency line is 800/283-3261. You will be connected to our answering service who will be able to reach me. I will make contact with you shortly thereafter. I have already placed several contractors on notice for repairs/leak clean-up and fallen tree issues. Immediately following the end of the storm I will be conducting property inspections at every community. All issues will be prioritized by severity. Good luck!

Respectfully,
TW

Master Board Meeting (My Notes)

The meeting started shortly after 1:00 PM on Saturday, October20, and ran until 4:00 PM.
representatives for TPW and all of the existing sub-condo boards were present including representatives from the newest townhouse developments.

Discussion Issues:
  •  TPW's website is operating. Finishing touches and de-bug should be concluded shortly. Go to www.deepharbourmaster.com to view the site. Login may not work at this time.  TPW will be sending out a mailer with registration information.
  • Parking regulations were discussed. Revisions were suggested to refine the regulation before it is incorporated into the Master Plan bylaws.. Essentially, it forbids commercial vehicles, large trucks, boats, trailers, etc. from using the common parking spaces under the Master plan jusidiction.  Parking rules in townhouse driveways and within the multiunit condos are the jusidiction of the sub-condo boards. Enforcement policies were discussed as well as Maryland law regarding towing of vehicles. There was some discussion as to how to notify renters of these policies and the responsibilities of landlords to commnicate these policies.
  • Flower plantings at the Trenton and Cedar St entrances was discussed. The voting representatives agreed that it was too late to spend money on a fall planting.  Volunteers will be needed to decide on a cost effective and decorative planting for spring.
  • Signage stimlated much conversation.  Three basic needs were addressed. Two speed limit signs (fifteen mile per hour) will be located just after the entrances.    A pedestrian access notice that states that the river walk and other walkways are closed after sunset and before sunrise to the general public, will be located near the walk-throughs at the gates. (Of course, Residents and their guests have full access.)    At the marina,"No crabbing, No fishing, No swimming, No skateboarding." This will apply to the entire bulkhead that bounds the Deep Harbour site. I understand that the "No fishing and No crabbing" does not apply to residents and their guests. This signage primarilly addresses a liability issue.
  • The group reviewed the budget and expenditures. It was felt that the reserve fund needed to be itemized and updated on a monthly basis rather than annually.
  • Pet Policy: The Maryland legislature is currently working on a law regarding "pitbulls and other dangerous species" as pets.  Creation of a Master Plan pet policy will be tabled until it is resolved.
  • Animal Control: Feral Cats. A growing population of cats is residing near the water tower area. Apparently some kind-hearted folks are feeding them. Need I say, this is not a good thing. Some board members have attempted to engage Dorchester County Anaimal Control.  The county simply does not deal with cats. Despite the persistance of some residents, no agency will assist with the cat problems.  No solution is in the works. The board menbers will continue to solicit the County for assistance. Otherwise, we may need to pay a professional to capture the cats. This is a defintie community health problem.
To WHOM ever it concerns:
PLEASE STOP FEEDING THE CATS.

Trash Picker or Identity Theft? SCOOTER KID?

ATTENTION! A resident reports suspicious behavior.

Last week there was a young, white, man / kid on a scooter near the 900 Marshy Cove dumpster.
A resident was on his way out the Cedar St gate and didn't think much of it until he talked to a neighbor later. The neighbor informed me that he saw this Scooter Kid remove 2 trash bags from the dumpster & ride off.  This same kid was seen going through other Deep Harbour dumpsters as well.
If you see the SCOOTER KID again contact TPW or Comanco.
Calling the Police may also be appropriate as the SCOOTER KID may be diving for credit card information, bank statements, credit card applications, etc.

Time to get a shredder?  Not a bad Idea.  I'm sure WalMart has a good price.   KEEP YOU EYES OPEN FOR THE SCOOTER KID!

GE Dishwashers: FIRE HAZARD!

There is a very high likelyhood that all of the dishwashers in 900 Marshy Cove are affected by this recall.  (The two that we checked are both on the recall list.)
See Comanco correspondence for more detail.
GE website: http://www.geappliances.com/products/recall/dishwasher_2012/

 GE offers a free repair or a $100 rebate toward a new unit. New units can cost approximately $900 and up.

GE Dishwashers - August 9, 2012 Recall   The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the General Electric Company (GE) have announced avoluntary recall of 1.3 million Hotpoint@. GE® and GE Profile™, GE Eterna'" and GE Adora" plastic tub dishwashers, manufactured between March 2006 through July 2006, and November 2006 through April 2008. These dishwashers are plastic tub dishwashers with front controls. They were sold in black, white, bisque, stainless steel and CleanSteel™ exterior colors and finishes. your dishwasher is included in the recall.

Additional lnfonnation
GE has determined that an electrical failure in the dishwasher's heating element can pose a fire hazard. GE will provide a free repair to all consumers with units affected by the recall. We ask that you not use your dishwasher until it is repaired and to disconnect the electric supply by shutting off the fuse or circuit breaker controlling it and inform all users of the dishwasher about the risk of fire.

Consumers who instead wish to replace their dishwasher with a new model can use a GE rebate of $75 for the purchase of a new GE front-control plastic tub dishwasher or a GE rebate of $100 for the purchase of a new GE front-control stainless tub dishwasher or GE Profile top control dishwasher.

GE is aware of 15 reports of dishwasher heating element failures, seven of which resulted in fire and smoke damage beyond the unit. No injuries have been reported.  The model and serial numbers are important, as not all dishwashers are included in the recall. Look at the inside on the front left side of the dishwasher tub to find the model and serial number.

This recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, which will also monitor the effectiveness of the recall program.

Beazer Homes USA, Inc
TPW Property Management
Concerned Residents of Deep Harbour

To Whom It May Concern:

I will be out of town for the scheduled Deep Harbour Master HOA meeting on Aug 17th so I’m sending this letter for consideration by concerned parties. Printed words can seem harsh but please be assured I’m not trying to assault anyone personally. Some things just need to be said. As an owner and full time resident of Deep Harbour I have growing concerns about the future of our community and the way it’s maintained and managed. Had it looked as it does today during any of our visits prior to buying last year we would never have bought here. Beazer, COMANCO and TPW have not performed to the expectations set by prior appearance and upkeep of the community. The present state of affairs is unacceptable, to say the least.

The transition between management companies was poorly planned and executed and the community is suffering because of it. Complaints and questions fall on deaf ears because neither Beazer nor TPW personnel answer e-mails. When asked in person, TPW personnel say they don’t have approval or the money to do things. If an act of congress is required to repair and maintain existing structures and amenities the whole place will fall apart before we can fix anything. I’ve paid $797 in HOA fees to TPW in recent weeks and most other owners have done the same. I’m not paying $249 in monthly HOA fees just to pay salaries and hear excuses. We need less red tape and more action.

Deep Harbour’s being a gated community was a big factor in our buying decision. All gates were up and operating when we moved in last August but the fire gates (used as a const. entrance) across from my front door at Shipyard Drive and Aurora St have been down since early December, 2011. Strong winds blew them apart because they were left open with no way of locking them in the open position. The Cedar St gates have been broken for almost 5 months now. The Trenton St gates, including the entrance gate into the 700 bldg, have been broken for over a month now. It’s hard to get any benefit from a gated community when all the gates are broken. This isn’t acceptable.

Community appearance has suffered considerably since last year. Landscape maintenance has been irregular and incomplete. The grass isn’t being mowed or edged at proper intervals and shrubs need to be trimmed. Sidewalks are overgrown in places and weed control has been haphazard at best. One of the dumpster corrals has no dumpster but it’s been full of junk and trash for months. Some residents are filling dumpsters with trash from offsite businesses and non-residents dump trash here regularly.

The pool isn’t being vacuumed and the strainer baskets aren’t cleaned daily. It’s never chlorinated properly because chlorinator lines were cut by vandals several weeks ago when the building was left unsecured. Chlorine leaked all over the floor (think HAZMAT incident) and there’s still residue all over the pumps and equipment. If the MD Dept. of the Environment or Health Dept. saw that it’s quite possible the pool would be closed down and large fines incurred. The building has been left unsecure several times. Any of these things could present a huge liability problem.

The marina is another point of concern for many of us. There were quite a few lights out on the piers. Most were repaired but there are at least four lights still out. Water is still leaking from some of the pipes under the piers, though not as badly as before. Non-residents are swimming, fishing and crabbing from our piers and bulkheads. They’re leaving bait and trash all over the place and often leave crab traps tied in place. I know we’re required to have public access for the proposed river walk but I think there needs to be limitations placed on that, if for no other reason than liability alone, especially with the slips being privately owned. All of the city piers and marinas are posted no swimming, fishing or crabbing. Maybe ours need to be posted the same way. Another option is to limit public access to sidewalks only, making the marina, bulkheads, piers and finger piers off limits to all except residents and guests. Public parks are closed from dusk until dawn. The river walk at Sailwinds is posted that way. I think our river walk should be posted that way for the general public and remain open to residents and guests 24/7.

As a lifetime dog owner, showman, former livestock breeder and all around animal person I must weigh in on the subject of Pit Bulls. I feel it’s unfair to single out any breed because of a reputation. I’ve seen many more bad owners than bad dogs. All of the Pit Bulls I’ve known personally have been very nice dogs and were well trained. The key to the dog situation is to require, absolutely, without exception, that all dogs in the community be leashed at all times. This is already a city ordinance. We just need to make sure everyone knows it applies to them, no matter what. Dogs are naturally protective of their owners and property. Someone may have the nicest, friendliest dog in the world but if it’s off leash and approaches another person with a dog, it’s very likely to be seen by the other dog as a threat and the result could be ugly. Non-compliant owners or unruly dogs should always be handled singly as required.

As the community continues to grow we need to add more pet stations. We should also remind everyone they’re required by law to pick up after their pets. An increasing number of pet owners are not picking up after their dogs. From what I can tell renters seem to be the biggest offenders. It’s possible their landlords didn’t fill them in on HOA rules and requirements. We should remind all owners they and their tenants are responsible to know and obey the HOA rules.

Last but not least, I’ve heard Beazer is trying to sell the remaining lots in Deep Harbour to another developer. If Beazer sells, will the new developer be held to the same requirements as Beazer? I know they’ve changed their development plans because permits were paid and issued in January to build on lots 112-117. Permits are good for 6 months but construction was never started and Beazer has shifted their building superintendent to a new community being started in Delaware. What guarantees, if any, do we have that Beazer won’t stop development at Deep Harbour and walk away leaving owners with an incomplete community and decimated property values because of it?

Your consideration of my concerns is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sincerely,
xxxxxxx x xxxxxxxx

Avoid future water damage

From Comanco

"All,

Mid Shore Plumbing has provided me with some pictures of expansion tanks they removed recently. You will see from the photos that these tanks could have burst at anytime. This is even more of a reason for each and every owner to replace theirs. It was also recommended that these tanks be replaced every four years at as a precautionary measure. If you wish to contact Mid Shore Plumbing, feel free to contact them at 410/228-9003."

Letter to the Editor: Declining Services

The following may provide you more incentive to attend the next board meeting.

A board member writes:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THE NEW MANAGEMENT COMPANY AND BEAZER'S SUPPORT OF OUR COMMUNITY. THE EXIT GATE ALONG CEDAR STREET HAS NOT WORKED FOR AT LEAST 6 WEEKS. THERE ARE 12 LIGHTS AT THE ENTRANCE AT CEDAR STREET. NOT ONE OF THE LIGHTS ARE WORKING. THE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS AROUND OUR CONDO BUILDING AND THE TOWNHOUSES ARE NOT TURNED ON. I HAVE REPORTED THESE ITEMS TO LARRY (BEAZER'S REP. AT THE POOL) AND LINCOLN DAVIS OF TPW. WE HAVE TO GET ALL RESIDENCE TO REGISTER COMPLAINTS. OUR VALUES ARE THE LOWEST ALONG CAMBRIDGE CREEK. THE AREAS TO BE BUILT ON HAVE ONLY BEEN MOWED ONCE THIS YEAR. THE STREETS ARE NOT FINISHED. THE COMMUNITY LOOKS LIKE WHAT IT IS (ABANDONED).
Quorum required
Proxies to elect new board members are due before July 28 meeting.
At the last board meeting, only one proxy was received.
Including the meeting attendees, a quorum was not present.
Two open seats on the board remain unfilled as a result.
These positions must be filled in order for the Board of Directors to conduct business.
There is a possibility that a proxy ballot box will be available in the lobby fro your convenience.
another option would be to hand deliver your proxy to a board member.
More on Pets- another resident reports
Another resident reports:
Guy with 2 big sheep dogsdoes pick up all the time...I've seen it happen. Don't go accusing someone if you haven't actually witnessed the dog owner walking away from a pile.
The dog waste is a problem and owners need to pick up.
Letter to Comanco from a resident
I was copied on this email to Comanco. Note: some words were adjusted. Given the fact that outsiders read this, I took the liberty to remove any pointers to personal identity.
Dear Comanco Management,
Over the Easter weekend someone parked their dog on the front side walk AND IT DROPPED TWO (2) VERY LARGE POOPS THAT WERE LEFT THERE..... CAN YOU PUT A BULLETIN IN THE ELEVATORS LIKE THE RECENT FLYER ???..... LOTS OF NEW PEOPLE IN OVER THE Last month....... MORE AND MORE RENTERS....... ARE THEY REGISTERING THESE DOGS ????.....
LAST NIGHT, LATE WHEN NOBODY IS AROUND, I SAW THE GUY WITH THE 2 LARGE WHITE SHEEP DOGS (WHO NEVER CARRIES DOGGIE BAGS OR SCOOPERS) WALKING THOSE DOGS ON THE WATERFRONT WALK!!!!
IF THE PEOPLE IN THE TOWNHOUSES HAVE DOGS, THEN OUR DOG POLICY IS TOOTHLESS AROUND OUR BLDG.
I HAVE NO SOLUTIONS!!!!!!!! DO YOU????
YESTERDAY I NOTICED A NEW DOG (ALASKAN HUSKY) BEING WALKED ON A LEASH, UNIT 4xx.
ALTHOUGH WE HAVE A DOG POLICY WRITTEN BY A 2-DOG OWNER / xxxx-xxxx THERE SEEMS TO BE NO ENFORCEMENT OR TEETH IN THE POLICY...... DOGS ARE MUCH TOO BIG FOR OUR BLDG.
ON A DIFFERENT SUBJECT, SOMEONE FROM ABOVE, THREW A LARGE CIGAR OVER THEIR RAILING AND IT LANDED ON MY BALCONY....... A BIG FIRE HAZARD TO SAY THE LEAST.........
THE GUY ABOVE ME IN 2xx DOESN'T SMOKE, NOR DO THE PEOPLE IN 3xx.... I DON'T KNOW WHO IS IN 4xx, BUTT !!!!!!!!!
MORE RENTERS, MORE VISITORS, MORE DOG SHugar.....THE END
a Resident
Scoop the Poop, Please!
Certainly, as new residents move in to the new townhouses, this problem will accelerate.
Letter to the Editor:
"Not sure what we can do about this, but the amount of dog piles around the condo seems to be on the rise. And, these droppings appear to be from a very large dog. I don't think any of the dogs in our building are large enough to be responsible (our dog is 60 lbs and she's not capable of producing poop of the size we're seeing everywhere). So, I can only speculate that the dog(s) and owner(s) not picking up after their dog(s) are from the townhouses or Cattail Cv. Do we have a contact in their homeowner associations who could remind them that they need to pick up after their dog(s)?"
Cambridge Creek: Tornado Warning!
A Weather Service tornado warning, which sent school children home early, resulted in some unusual wind damage in Cambridge.
Residents reported greenish skies and freight train noises synonymous with tornadoes and hurricanes. It appears that a tornado never developed, but, perhaps a micro-burst. Whatever the meteorological description, the good news is that we were not in Kansas.
At the time of the tornado warning, I was heading south on Route 50. Just south of Trappe, traffic stopped. My GPS indicated that I was 3.5 miles away from the Malkus Bridge. This was just around 5:10 PM. The north bound lanes were empty. The south bound lanes were jammed-jammed-jammed. It was a 3.5 mile Congo line of red tail lights. Occasionally, movement of one car length would provide a feeling of hope.
After checking my map for an alternate route, the radio traffic advisory reported that a Box truck
had been flipped by the wind at the foot of the Malkus (Choptank) Bridge. The northbound lane was blocked. The bridge was closed to traffic while the vehicle was removed. They also reported a downed tree on Route 331 blocking the only detour path over the Choptank. Waiting seemed to be the best option. After an hour, things were back to normal.
On Cambridge Creek, we had our own excitement. Some shingles and pieces of siding were lost on one of the new townhouses. Some wind damage was evident on the Cattail Cove Condo Building. see photo.
Cattail Cupola Damage-siding blown off.
The most dramatic incident was the three sailboats that were knocked over at Generation 3 Marina.
"ONWARD", "Odyssey", and an unknown sailboat fell of their jacks. It appears that the domino effect was in play here. "ONWARD " suffered the most damage with a broken mast. Let's hope that they all have good insurance coverage. "Odyssey" is owned by one of our residents.
A close up look at the mast damage
Other reports included intermittent power failures. Someone was apparently trapped in the elevator during one of these outages. Resumption of power ended the entrapment.
Fishing Trip
At this time, 9 people have signed up for the May fishing trip.
That's a full boat.
If we have enough interest, perhaps, we can organize a trip in the fall.
Many thanks for your responses.
Group Fishing Trip
Several of us have talked about organizing a fishing trip this spring.
A day in the first two weeks of May would be a suggested time.
Given the popularity of Rockfishing (Striped Bass), Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are more likely to be available.
If you are interested, drop a note to mc900@comcast.net
We need six people to fill a boat.
Tell a friend.
Approximate cost is about $100-$150 per person.
Regards, George B
Fire Alarm Incident: correction
Correction:
In my last post, I suggested that someone had disconnected a fire system sounder.
That proved to be untrue. No one tampered with the system.
It was later detemined that another device was causing the "un-resetable" situation.
Thanks for sending this clarification to me.
A Graceful Entrance; A not-so-Graceful Exit
Front Door Entrance:
With all of the traffic through the main entrance doors, it is quite evident that the front doors have taken quite a beating. These doors were replaced a few years ago and are quite expensive.
If you are moving furniture and other large objects through the entrance way, take care. There is a way to prop the doors open. Ask someone to show you.
Ungraceful Exit:
This past week at some unspeakable hour in the morning, the fire evacuation alarm sounded. As I understand it, a leak in the sprinkler water supply line was the cause. Whenever water flows in the sprinkler pipelines, a sensor will trigger the evacuation signal. This is how the fire alarm system knows that a sprinkler head has activated. Water flow to a sprinkler head or a leak will both have the same effect.
The leak apparently was immediately above the ceiling of unit 410. That's a Chesapeake model on the creek side of the building. The resident has moved out temporarily while repairs are made.
I understand that the Condo Association Insurance covers the remediation.
Since water flows down, units 310, 210, and 110, all have decreasing amounts of water damage.
Fair Warning:
We have had several evacuation alarms. Please do not ignore these alarms. What is the main excuse why people don't evacuate buildings?
"I don't smell any smoke. It must be a false alarm."
Given our experiences, I can understand why someone would take this position; however, assuming a false alarm is a good way to find yourself trapped in a burning building. The hazard may not be smoke: but, combustion products, like Carbon Monoxide that will overcome you. Carbon Monoxide has no odor. If you smell smoke, It is probably too late.
Back to Basics:
  • Yes, this past week there was no fire; but, the alarm system functioned as designed.
  • Never assume a false alarm, that's how people die.
  • Leave the building and let the Fire Marshall determine when it is safe to return.
  • Help others get out. Maybe we should have a buddy system so we know who's in the building.
Also Heard:
I heard that a resident may have disconnected the strobe/sounder in their unit. In my opinion, this is criminal. The disconnection of any component on a fire signal loop, can cause system failure. The control panel sends check signals every second to check for readiness of the electronics. Fire systems detect and report the device number. This is required by code. If you disconnect your device, the fire system will not properly reset.
A break in the circuit loop affects the fire system's readiness. If the sound bothers you, try ear plugs. (Sorry, but this is serious stuff.)
In and Out:
Also reported was a young man that has been scootering in the lobby. Please walk your scooter. The lobby is the community living room. Please respect it. Thanks.
