Carpet Status, Wednesday, 2/26/2020

Another Update on our carpet installation.
Status: The installers ran short of carpeting material so some areas are not finished. All surfaces are covered. The vinyl flooring material is expected to arrive next week.
4th floor – carpet done – needs vinyl flooring
3rd floor – carpet done – needs vinyl flooring
2nd floor – carpet done by some thresholds are mismatched
– needs vinyl flooring
1st Floor – main hallway done, end of hallway near 103 and 110 are still the original carpet. Some thresholds are mismatched.
– needs vinyl flooring
The installers will return to fix the mismatched segments and finish the other areas when more material arrives. Our carpet is customized to match our wall color. We do not know how long it will take to get more carpet.
Wall bruises will be touched up by the installer.
As soon as Carpet One gives us definite dates, we will announce it.
Thank you for your patience,

Tuesday: carpet installation progress

Second Floor: Original carpets removed.
First Floor: Carpet removal in progress

Wow! New Carpeting, Progress Report..

The removal of the existing carpet went much faster than expected.
Starting on the fourth floor, the original carpet was lifted and removed in an hour and a half.
So, by 12 noon the long strip in the hallway was in place by noon.
At the end of the day, the 4th floor was done.
The vinyl flooring planned for the elevator floors and landing areas should be installed later this week.

At the end of Monday, the crew moved to the 3rd floor to remove the original carpeting and began installing the new carpeting.

We thought that this project would take 3 weeks, instead, it should be done by Friday, February 28.

How does it look?
