Deck Repairs: Need your feedback!

Of the 24 decks repaired to date, three residents have reported that the repair has not held up. Three residents have reported that the tape has lifted and the vinyl decking has curled up.

If your deck was repaired and the tape is lifting or the decking is curling, please report it immediately to Sentry Management. It is imperative that all decks in the building are sealed before colder weather arrives. 

The 900 MC board is delaying the repair of the units on the fourth floor until it is certain that this is a proper solution.

The following units were repaired:

First floor 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 108, 109, 110, 112, 111?

Second floor 202, 203, 204, 207, 209, 210, 211

Third Floor 302, 303, 304, 307, 309, 311.

Fourth Floor 410

Top-Coating at Deep Harbour

Deep Harbour Residents:

Here are a few clarifications on paving…

You can tell the areas that have top coat already by looking at the joint between the asphalt and the curb. The road and the curb surfaces will be even. Areas with no top coat have a lip with the concrete curb being a few inches higher than the street surface. If you normally park in an area where there is no top coat please be sure to move your vehicle by 7 AM Monday morning, July 10^th.

Areas already top coated:

700 Cattail Cove – gates, driveway and parking lot

900 Marshy Cove – parking lot

Sailors Lane - entirety

Seaway Lane – area behind TH 5

Tidewater Drive – area behind units at 200-214

NO OTHER AREAS OF DEEP HARBOUR ARE TOP COATED. Residents are reminded even though your area may be top coated already, areas between your unit and the gates may not be. If you leave your vehicle in your driveway or garage you may not be able to reach a gate to leave when you want to because of paving. It will be your responsibility to watch the contractor’s progress and figure out when they’ll be paving areas you need to use and respond accordingly if you need to go out.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS ANYONE TO DRIVE THROUGH ROAD BLOCKS OR ON FRESHLY PAVED AREAS UNTIL THE CONTRACTOR REMOVES THE ROAD BLOCKS AND/OR SAYS IT’S OK.

Paving of Deep Harbour streets begins on July 10, 2017

Note: This does not affect the parking areas in front of 900 Marshy Cove

Paving of roads in Deep Harbour is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 10, 2017. 

Please remove all vehicles from roadways and parking areas where there is no top coat of asphalt by 7 AM Monday morning. Vehicles in the way of paving will be towed. Each gate and road will be closed for a period of time as work progresses. Please be prepared to use alternate routes and parking areas.

This work is being done by the developer’s contractor. We have no specific information at this time so we must be prepared for work to start at any given point in the community. When we receive more information, we will update the community.
