ALERT! City seeks bids for RIverwalk

Deep Harbour Riverwalk Extension The Commissioners of Cambridge are soliciting sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the construction of the Deep Harbor Riverwalk Extension. Work consists of the installation of approximately 580 linear feet of 10 ft. wide riverwalk consisting of poured concrete and cobble pavers to match the existing walkway. Sealed bids will be received by the Department of Public Works, 1025 Washington Street, Cambridge, Maryland 21613 until 4:00 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the Department of Public Works, 1025 Washington Street, Cambridge, Maryland 21613. Hard copies may be purchased for $10 per set. Digital copies will be provided at no cost. The successful bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date specified in a written “Notice to Proceed” from the Owner, and to fully complete the project within 45 calendar days. Bidders shall visit the site before submitting a bid for this work and thoroughly familiarize themselves as to the accuracy and correctness of the same.
