It’s all about appearances

This one’s for the board. There is a growing negative consensus on the lobby carpets.
“I must confess, when I first saw the new carpets in the lobby, I made a comment to my wife that they didn't fit. The ones at the front and back doors don't bother me much, but those in front of the elevators seriously detract from the decor and ambiance of the lobby. Hopefully, it is only a band-aid and not a permanent detraction."

No Butts, please: Smokers, you attention to this will be appreciated.
"Regarding the addition of "cigarette/ash cans" near the front entrance. Bravo. However, a lot of cigarette butts are still collecting near the park bench. Does anyone police this area or are we to allow the cigarette butts continue to detract from the building? First impressions are usually lasting."
