A Facebook Group for Deep Harbour residents has been created. This is a private group for residents only. The purpose of the group is to help residents discover and communicate with other residents for various purposes including:
- Shared interests (walks, kayaking, boating, running, fishing, etc.)
- Propose or arrange social events like cocktails on the compass
- Borrow - whatever
- Swap - sleep space for relatives, car for a van to transport stuff
- Sell (within the DH community)
- Free items for pick-up
- Seek recommendations for service technicians, etc.
- Services - sitters, dog walkers
- Lost and found
- Whatever else that makes sense to the user group
This Facebook Group is not discoverable by anyone outside of the people who are added by the Admins (currently Admins are Lisa R and Lynn S). Lisa and Lynn are experienced Systems Administrators and will ensure that the Group is carefully protected. Lisa's vision includes discovering a point of contact within each sub-association that will at a basic level help to help confirm, as needed, the identity of residents in that segment.
