The good news is that we learned a few things about the building.
Common observations:
- "Whadda ya know, the emergency lights really work"
- "No elevator?" Yes, no power, no elevator.
- "I didn't know that we had stairways."
- The other key is for opening the fire door on the stairway and side entrances.
- The garage door opens automatically on a power failure. Yes, your car will not be locked in the garage. OK!
- No Internet, no cable, you may be forced to talk to other people or play cards by candlelight. aaarrgh!
Sorry, I missed all of the fun.
After a few hours, the lights returned, cable TV, Internet, Microwave, and Air Conditioning. At least the power company doesn't charge us for the downtime; but, why does Comcast?
