When you look at the policy, all appears reasonable.
The goal was to create a management policy that would protect persons and property.
The policy appears to have achieved that objective. Some Highlights:
- Each Pet is to be registered. A maximum of two pets per unit.
- Animals are to be spayed or neutered.
- Proof of inoculation is required.
- The maximum weight of an animal has been set at 55 pounds.
- Pets are to be on the leash in all common areas.
- Owners are responsible for clean-ups.
- Dog(cat) tags that identify the owner are required. (The pets wear the tags.)
And the part I like,
- No orangutans, chimpanzees, elephants, or snakes!
Many thanks to the Pet Committee for enduring the process of policy creation.
